Podcast (question 6)

Q6. What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
I learned a lot of things about the use of technology in the entire process of making my media product. I realized that Internet is a technology which can provide you with any sort of information in any type of medium you need. It can teach you from You Tube tutorials, it can provide you with facts and figures for research and it can even give you examples to take help from.
Next technology was the world of camera, I always loved the photography but never knew that all the good stuff we see on screen have lots of thinking process and techniques. Starting from using camera with tripod to the camera angles and shots all the techniques were an awesome new experience for me.
Sense or rather the science of lighting was a thing of which we only got a base according to our requirements of the products we were making. But that base gave the product a touch which no other thing could give in such natural and real way.
After that come the major thing called editing and our media theory teacher told us in the very beginning of the term that the film is made on the editing table which we realized later on during the process after the shoot. The magical software Adobe which my teacher taught me was just amazing and after that face of editing now I know that what I use to see on my television screen is not just like that before editing.
These were all the technologies taught to me during the year and which made my product like it is now.
